Hope Presbyterian Church is a PCA church (Presbyterian Church in America) meeting in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.  We are a group of sinners saved by grace seeking to: love the Triune God through gospel worship that is theologically rich and liturgically reverent; love one another through gospel community that is intentional and authentic; and love others through gospel service and proclamation that gives eternal comfort and good hope through grace.

About Us

Hope Presbyterian Church wholeheartedly embraces the historic Christian faith governed by God's Word and expressed in the ecumenical creeds of the Church (e.g. the Apostle's and Nicene Creeds).  As an evangelical and reformed congregation we also submit to the Westminster Confession of Faith.  Hope Presbyterian is a member congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America.

  • Peter Johnson

    Senior Pastor

    Teaching Elder

    Peter was called to be the Pastor at Hope in 2019.and led the church from being a mission church to a particularized church in the PCA.  He has over 20 years of service as a chaplain in the US Army where he was deployed on six combat missions.  Peter has an MDiv. from Fuller Seminary.  He has been an ordained Teaching Elder in NAPARC since 2014.

    Shane and his family have been a part of Hope since it was planted in March of 2017.  He served as a Ruling Elder at Hope before joining the staff in 2022 and becoming an ordained Teaching Elder.  Shane has an M.A. in Biblical Studies and an MDiv. from Midwestern Seminary.  He has served in ministry for the past 25 years as a missionary, church planter, and pastor.
